Although anyone can get strep throat, it is most common in school‐age children, passed by coughing, sneezing and other means.   People who smoke, who are fatigued, run down, or who live in damp, crowded conditions are also more likely to become infected.

WHAT ARE THE TEST RESULT RANGES?

Normal Range:

This test reports a positive or negative.  A positive result indicates you may have strep throat.  A negative result indicates that you do not have strep throat or the antibodies are not registering in the throat swab yet.

High Results Indicate:

There are no high results for this test.

Low Results Indicate:

There are no low results for this test.
